  • 01Mounting flange

    • A large, robust mounting flange is built into the Severe Service Valve body to support heavy operators.

  • 02Blowout-Proof stem

    • Featuring a highly corrosion resistant super alloy, blowout proof, two-piece design.

  • 03Zero emission live loaded packing

    • Zero emission packing rings are used to reduce the carbon footprint of the valve in conjunction with spring washers to compensate for packing consolidations at elevated temperature and high pressure conditions.

  • 04Load spring

    • A large spring ring energizes the Severe Service Valve at low pressures creating a tight low pressure seal and compensates for thermal growth of the ball and seat at elevated temperatures.

  • 05Metal ring body gasket

    • Unique self energizing and pressure energizing gasket ensures against leakage during thermal transients.

  • 06Inconel 718 loading rings

    • Wide sealing surfaces lower dynamic contact stress between the ball and seat during operation and extend the valve’s life cycle.

  • 06Ball-to-Seat Interface

    • Severe Service Valves are available in raised face, ring joint, butt weld, socket weld, and hub-type configurations.
